The Colorado Garden and Home show is here.  If you can't make it, don't worry, you can still have access to the best Mural Painting Services in Colorado.

G.Go Decorative offers Custom Murals and Faux Finishing for Denver and surrounding areas.  What makes us different?  That starts with the work you receive.  Gary Gomez is a lifelong mural artist, and has harnessed his talent in a business avenue that provides quality and superior customer service.

How to shop for a mural artist?
If a mural artist is legitimate, you will see it in their work.   Browse our online portfolio from www.GGoDecorative.com, and compare our work to what you find online.  You want to find businesses in your area to compare the work.  Try using Google and search for "cloud murals" or "children's murals" or "wall murals Denver".  What you may find is that many Painting companies are simply tacking-on "Mural Services" to their menu, but lack the actual experience and skill required to execute a professional looking design.  Their prices are cheap, because the work is... well.. you get what you pay for.

G.Go Decorative specializes in Children's Murals, Tree Murals, and Landscape Murals.

From a Photo to a Mural

A picture is worth a thousand words.  So true, especially if the image represents a fond memory, such as a special place you have been, or someplace you wish to visit.

If you have a strong emotion associated with a particular photo, it's worth savoring.  And so, we make our photos into desktop wallpaper, save it on our phones, or print it out and frame it.

If you wish to bring your favorite image into your existence even further, bigger is usually better.  However, custom is always better than bigger!  You CAN have bigger AND custom with a wall mural painted directly on a wall in your home or business.  The way they turn out is completely determined by the talent of the muralist that paints them.  With a favorite photo, you most certainly want to do it justice when it is emblazened on your wall for good.

A seasoned mural artist knows from experience how to apply their years of training and education into your wall mural, and give you the results you are looking for.  Your custom mural will generate more emotion than a printed photo can.  Plus, you can remove any annoying power lines, cars, or people from the photo, until only the ideal scene and memory remains.

To find out how affordable a photo to mural can be, visit www.ggodecorative.com , or call 303-946-4300.

"With my mural work, I strive to consistently provide a painted atmosphere that represents the highest level of skill, precision, and sophistication - even for a nursery room!" ~ Gary Gomez, Owner, G.Go Decorative Murals - Denver

Children's Murals are always in season.  Nursery Murals are very popular for expecting parents, as a way to welcome their new arrival into a home with a special room just for them.

Vineyard and Tuscan murals, as well as landscape murals are popular for wine cellars, architectural and art niches, dining areas, and fireplaces.

Underwater Mural themes work great as bathroom murals, play room murals, and nursery room murals.

Painted Clouds and Sky murals are perfect for dining areas, nursery rooms, foyers, home theaters, and practically any ceiling.

Decorative Motif Murals, which integrate stencil patterns with custom faux finishing techniques, are very hot for decorated ceilings, accent walls, range hoods, and virtually any surface.

Ceiling Murals can be sky murals, but alternative ideas such as classic art, old world maps, iconography, and decorative motifs or frames can make the ceiling a focal wall, rather than a plain white lid.

Corporate murals are specifically for businesses and corporations.  Great for slogans, logo, lobby, signage, and enhancing corporate image.

Think about your mural like a tattoo. It will be permanent, so you want it to be good. It will be on display, so you want to be proud of it. It should have meaning and/or purpose. Some people choose to have a mural in their home to represent something important to them, like a cultural heritage, for example. Others need to enhance or improve the architecture, such as a low ceiling, or an empty wall.

A wall mural differs from fine art in several ways. Mural art can be created to work with the existing wall shape, or architecture. It is not restricted to a square shape. You may find that a mural can cost the same as some fine art, even though a mural may be 4 times larger. That's because large mural art implies light and shape with properly placed brush strokes, which lends to a realistic effect when viewed from a casual distance of 5-10 feet away.

A mural is a work of art when performed by experienced and seasoned mural artists. You are not only buying the work of art that will adorn your wall, you are also hiring the artist for their talent and their time. A mural begins with a plan, and the artist will create the idea in a visual scene that you can look at and approve before the work begins. Getting the image on a large wall takes planning and and eye for proportions. Sometimes scaffolding is involved. The execution of painting the mural can take 2-5 days on average, depending on size and detail. The work is continual during the painting process. It is the goal of the artist to execute their best work in the least amount of time possible.

When searching for a mural artist, it is advised that you speak with them, and make sure they are intelligent and professional. Check their work and website, and make sure their style is something you would like in your home. Make sure they carry liability insurance.

If, after reviewing our portfolio of mural photos, you feel that G.Go Decorative does not fit your style, we will be happy to refer you to our trusted affiliate mural artists, each with their individual style and skillset. Stay tuned for a directory of affiliated mural artists.

Sincerely,
Gary Gomez, Owner, G.Go Decorative Murals - Denver

Can you make money by spending money?

In this economy, people's initial reaction is to save and not spend.  Cut corners and cut back.  But what that course of action feeds into is a poverty awareness.  "We don't have enough money."  "We're not going to make it."  With that mindset, how can you ever get ahead?

Would a new suit help you land that high profile job you have an interview for?  If you don't buy that suit, you are not helping your image or your mentality that you are deserving.

Would painting your home make you feel better, more relaxed and fresh and new?  Likewise, think about the feeling you get when you look at a great photo that you love, or a sculpture from that once in a lifetime trip.

The point is, keep pleasing things in your mind, and you will attract more of them.  If a dream mural of a dream vacation on your wall would give you pleasing memories or thoughts of escape, you can imagine how seeing it every day can affect your mood.  A good mood will affect how you will perform.  A good mood will attract good things into your life.

Every journey begins with a single step.  Help yourself out by taking care of your attitude and happiness first.  Good things will follow.
